Classy Rider™ emerged out of Kathy McCurry's desire for a riding jacket that she could put on for ’everyday riding’. On beautiful days she wanted to take the motorcycle to meet with friends, go to restaurants and even go to work – basically to use the MC for transportation. For these occasions, she wanted something more “mainstream” looking. But, the mainstream jackets weren’t made for riding – the sleeves were too short, there weren’t enough pockets, the zipper scratched my gas tank and the collars flapped in the wind among other problems. So she endeavored to design a line of mainstream-looking jackets with features that are important for riders.
